Today we killed two birds with one stone as they say. We are studying the American Revolution and found a book at the library about colonial cooking. We also needed a book for cooking for our literature badge. Hence the two birds... Anyway ingredients were very easy - flour, sugar, cornmeal,butter, eggs, baking powder, baking soda, salt, apples, and cheese. They tast savory and sweet at the same time. I really liked them. Unlike Grace that tasted a small bit and proclaimed they tasted bad.
